The leadership is there and the school will prepare your kid for college. I really recommend if you want the best for your child.

Horrible experience. Principals and staff never answer the phone. Everytime I encounter them it is unorganized and unprofessional.

This school should be shut down. I was a staff member at this school last year....singlular....one YEAR, and because of what occured at TMHS, I will never step foot in a classroom again. Overall, the kids run the school, because the kids act out, cry to mommy and daddy (while lying), mom or dad cries to the principal, and the child who is causing the issues gets to return to class with no consequences for their actions. With that being said, no, all the kids aren't "bad". Actually, most of them are quite pleasant. It's the few bad apples that tear the whole school down.Parents: you may think that you're doing the right thing by "vouching" for your child, but in reality, what you're doing is setting your child up for failure. In the real world, when a person is out of order, they get the boot, especially for those of us of the melanin persuasion. So, by defending your kid in their wrongdoing, you are only teaching them the wrong principles. College professors and deans don't care about how you feel, despite the fact that you are paying for your child's education. Overall, if Marshall had parents that are actually raising thier kids, instead of showing them how to beat the system, maybe, just MAYBE, TMHS could thrive. However, the reality of that happening is slim to none, and as time goes on, there will continue to a revolving door of principals, APs, and teachers. If you are a parent who is actually doing your job by teaching your child the right principles in life, then my advice to you is to send your child to Ridge Point, Clements, or Hightower (if you are going to put your kid in one of the many academies). But the better choice all together is to send them to a Katy or Cy-Fair ISD school. Happy Schooling!
