Pomona Elementary School

Our child's 2023-24 year at Don Jeter was disappointing and disheartening. There is an overall punitive culture for students who do not fit within the box. Although we did a lot of work at home to help our child learn to cope with the problems they were dealing with at school, the school administration did not appear to be interested in looking deeper into the things that were going on in the classroom. We were not afforded an opportunity to meet with the new principal and just did not get the sense from administration that there was an interest in resolving the issues. I would not recommend Don Jeter to anyone.

Savannah Lakes Elementary School has a good academic program that focuses on providing students with a well-rounded education. The school offers a variety of courses in math, science, language arts, and social studies. The teachers are dedicated and work hard to ensure that students receive a quality education.The staff at Savannah Lakes Elementary School are caring and committed to their students. They create a positive and nurturing learning environment, which helps students feel safe and supported. The teachers are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to help students succeed. The administrative staff is also highly involved, and communication between staff, students, and parents is encouraged.

I have enjoyed Silverlake with my younger two kiddos attending from Kindergarten through 4th grade. The teachers, staff and administrators are wonderful.

Teacher communication and follow up is very poor. Please review the school harassment and bullying policy and don’t let them gaslight you into believing it’s “hormones” or whatever. Harassment and bullying in any form isn’t right.

An amazing school that truly teaches well. My daughter graduated from this school and is excelling in public kindergarten. My second son has been attending for two years, and we will be sending our third son as well in a heartbeat.

This is the beset school in the whole wide world

We as parents are really happy about the school, its staff in treating the kids and communication with parents. The school made this a very memorable journey for a first time parent and amazing early school years which is the foundation for kids.
