Wonderful school. Principal is very hands on. Teachers are awesome as well.

On October 14th I was in the car rider pick up line and the a staff member that was helping with car rider line took my daughter to a completely different car that was not mine. I feel as that was very negligent on their behalf since Texas has a very high rate for human trafficking. This is why I thought we were provided car rider signs to make sure we're getting our babies to the correct car. This school and the teacher needs to be help accountable for their actions because if I didn't see that they wouldn't have voluntarily told me that information. I will be filing a complaint against this school , and I'm not writing this to bash this school but I'm writing it so it can bring awareness to other parents because this is unacceptable and should not have happened. If I wasn't paying attention or being aware of my surroundings, I would have not witness this so parents please pay attention to your children when your picking them up so this doesn't happen to yours.

THIS SCHOOL LOST NY NIECE!!!!!My baby girl’s book bag CLEARLY SAID CAR RIDER!!!School faculty had nothing to say but “I’m sorry WE CANT FIND YOUR DAUGHTER”She was placed on a bus and taken to GOD KNOWS WHERE and no one said anything but “I don’t know why this happened.”No answers as to who was responsible for placing her on this bus and no consequences for their actions!!! This can HAPPEN TO ANYONE!!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

I would not trust my child going to this school, on the second day of my daughter going to school they put her on a bus when her backpack clearly says “CAR RIDER” when I came to pick her up and sat on the long car line to pull up and be told to pull to the side after waiting for about 20 minutes I go into the main lobby to find out my daughter was put on a bus going lord knows where. Texas is the number 2 state for human trafficking. As a mother you can imagine the thoughts that raced through my mind. When I asked “how did this happen” the answer I was told from MULTIPLE people including the principal is “I don’t know”. You CANNOT run a school like that. You’re in charge of the safety of these children you need to have each of them accounted for at all times. For something like this to happen just shows carelessness and neglect, frankly endangerment too seeing as how my daughter is just in kindergarten. When she came back to the school (by bus) she was obviously very upset. The principal was telling her “it’s not your fault” no it’s not, you’re the adults that were in charge of dismissal, it’s YOUR fault. Don’t patronize my child.

If you are looking for a great Special Ed/Lifeskills program, Parkway goes above and beyond expectations! My daughter can do things we were told she never could, great staff and Principle!
