Daiches Elementary School

This school has awesome programs for children with learning disabilities. .the teachers are so freaking awesome. .I've had my son for 6 yrs in this school I've gotten to know half the staff and the maintenance stuff also..they are wonderful. .don't get me wrong there are a few bad apples of teachers tha really don't expect anything great for their students..but most want to see their students succeed and be great at wat they learned.. ..It took 4 years for us to get my son the help he needed just to be in a 504 program and a teacher to care and noticed that he was needed the help and the attention for understanding why he was not catching on or up..I thank that teacher for putting her time effort and dedication to put my son into the program that he so needed..his 3rd grade teacher is and always going to b the best teacher that I've known and my son that has really cared for him and his education. .this school is wonderful. .but we need more teachers to b more involved and also take their time to notice their students and attend to their learning problems if so they have difficulty in it..so they can get the resources to succeed in their education. .also the principal needs to be more caring understanding and more compassionate and friendly towards the students,parents and especially the students. .and she should let the parents be more involved in their children's education as much as they want and able to work with the teachers and progress..instead if thinking for her self and how the school will represent. ..so if u are looking for a good school and live on the south side of laredo this school is not the best but it is a great school wit friendly and caring staff........thank you mrs..cantu (3rd grade) for noticing and helping my son succeed in his education u never gave up on him or his learning and thank u for involving us in his education and also caring abt him and his feelings..

'My school is the best school ever. My teacher Ms Enriquez is awesome! She cares for all of us. She wants us to pass. This are the words of my son, I am glad he is happy. Every morning is a new challenge for him. But this year is his year. He likes his principal Mr. Castillo. Very respectable man. All faculty work as a team. They teach and have fun. The school strives for security and wellness of our children. Everything is well ordered. The PTA meeting are excellent and well informed. I have my boy that already passed to 6th and no longer is in this school. But since beginning his teacher have acknowledge him and got him to participate in various events. They even participated in a Television Program, Chess Clubs and Science project. My son never missed a day, enjoyed Bruni School to the max. I am proud of Bruni School. And appreciate all it gave to my sons to excel in life.

Having my daughter attend this school, I can see how teachers and staff are involved and really helpful with the students. My daughter's first year as a prek 3 student was a great experience. Her teacher Mrs. Gonzalez was always on top of everything and would always let me know of things to improve on my daughter or things she was great at.

School is academically exceptional. Teachers go above and beyond to ensure the academic success of every child.
