Read what parents are saying about Ulrich Intermediate SchoolThis school was nice, all the teachers were nice. Even tho theres so many fights, its best to ignore.
Posted by a student on 8/30/2023no this is not that good of a school.
Posted by a parent on 11/16/2022Poor at best, the teachers have their own agenda and do not deviate from this. As the school heads into a new chapter with a principle that is not considered to be the best fit for the job in my opinion as he seems to think shouting at a student in his office without other adults present then leaving said student in his office for close to one hour while he attended to something else is not a good start. all this was over was a failed staar test! of which the child has the 504 for learning difficulties. To be blunt avoid if possible.
Posted by a parent on 5/11/2018I have had children in this school for the last 5 years. The school has done a wonderful job working with my son who has a learning disability. I can not say enough about their compassion and care for the students and work to keep the parents informed
Posted by a parent on 10/6/2017Amazing school! Most of the teachers are very dedicated and helpful to the students. The music department is great, i'm currently in orchestra (I play the violin) and the teachers are so nice and helpful and they have taught me so much. It's also very well organized which makes me very happy. The Athletic department is awesome too and I feel like we have a good amount of sport choices to choose from. In conclusion, Ulrich is a great school for me and other people as well, 100% recommend it.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child's teacher mentioned she thought my child had a learning disability. The school did nothing about trying to test my child from when the teacher mentioned this in September, until I pushed and pushed and finally got the principal in February. My child got diagnosed in May. The counselor quit in December and no one was notified. Teachers have been dropping like flies and posting on their socials, but the school is insisting they are still employed. Students are punching each other in class, and continuing to stay in class. Children are watching their classmates get bullied, and then seeing the bully come right back to class afterwards. Several teachers were blatantly searching for jobs online during the school day with students in class as well. They are also telling the kids that the class has the lowest test scores in the grade and blaming the kids for it.I'm saddened by the downfall of this school.Parent Review1y ago - Willow Creek Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTypical Texas public school that focuses on large workload with lots of unnecessary filler, focus on memorization, teaching kids to just "do as you are told" and constant testing. The kids have 2-4 test per weeks on top of constantly focusing on prepping for STAAR test. Unfortunately seems due to the politics (or should I say politricks) of Texas Education Agency (TEA) teachers are literally being turned into order takers and just doing what they are told which makes no common sense to really educate children.School is severely lacking in diversity within the staff. The was also no mention of Black History month or focus on Black History figures the entire month of February. Ultimately decided to pull my child from the school and return to private education.Parent Review1y ago - Brill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWent and had lunch with my 4th grader Jameson today. It’s been almost 2 years since we’ve been able to do this and let me just say that I love this school. ( he moved over from Yeager 2 weeks ago). The ladies at the front desk were kind and quickly got me checked in. The school was very clean as well as the lunchroom itself. No full garbage cans or dirty tables. I brought him food but from what I saw of the tray lunches they looked appetizing. FYI ( for 4th graders at least) the only day you can do this is on Thursday at noon. Very pleased with my experience at this new school for our family. KUDOS! P.S. his teacher came over and introduced herself to me and we spoke for a few minutes. Lovely person as wellParent Review2y ago - Krahn Elementary School
