Read what parents are saying about Klein Cain High SBest High School in Klein. Very good staff and teachers that are always looking out for students.
Posted by a parent on 3/22/2024The THC and illicit drug use in Klein ISD/Klein Cain, specifically bathrooms, is INSANELY out of control. The total lack of communication with parents and attention to covering up failing grades is equally shocking. Withdrew my son and put him in rehab as a result of extracurricular activities he learned, which were reported but was told “We do what we can, when we can” by administration and police. The ratio of students to teachers is about 30:1 and sometimes more. This says there are less than 3000 students. From the assistant chief of police Himself, there are approximately 4,500 kids there, with inadequate staffing of both police AND teachers. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE.
Posted by a parent on 4/3/2023Great school with great teachers, administrators, and students. Beautiful campus, great extracurricular and learning opportunities.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child's teacher mentioned she thought my child had a learning disability. The school did nothing about trying to test my child from when the teacher mentioned this in September, until I pushed and pushed and finally got the principal in February. My child got diagnosed in May. The counselor quit in December and no one was notified. Teachers have been dropping like flies and posting on their socials, but the school is insisting they are still employed. Students are punching each other in class, and continuing to stay in class. Children are watching their classmates get bullied, and then seeing the bully come right back to class afterwards. Several teachers were blatantly searching for jobs online during the school day with students in class as well. They are also telling the kids that the class has the lowest test scores in the grade and blaming the kids for it.I'm saddened by the downfall of this school.Parent Review1y ago - Willow Creek Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTypical Texas public school that focuses on large workload with lots of unnecessary filler, focus on memorization, teaching kids to just "do as you are told" and constant testing. The kids have 2-4 test per weeks on top of constantly focusing on prepping for STAAR test. Unfortunately seems due to the politics (or should I say politricks) of Texas Education Agency (TEA) teachers are literally being turned into order takers and just doing what they are told which makes no common sense to really educate children.School is severely lacking in diversity within the staff. The was also no mention of Black History month or focus on Black History figures the entire month of February. Ultimately decided to pull my child from the school and return to private education.Parent Review1y ago - Brill Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWent and had lunch with my 4th grader Jameson today. It’s been almost 2 years since we’ve been able to do this and let me just say that I love this school. ( he moved over from Yeager 2 weeks ago). The ladies at the front desk were kind and quickly got me checked in. The school was very clean as well as the lunchroom itself. No full garbage cans or dirty tables. I brought him food but from what I saw of the tray lunches they looked appetizing. FYI ( for 4th graders at least) the only day you can do this is on Thursday at noon. Very pleased with my experience at this new school for our family. KUDOS! P.S. his teacher came over and introduced herself to me and we spoke for a few minutes. Lovely person as wellParent Review2y ago - Krahn Elementary School
