Kaufman Christian School

My experience is limited as I am the grandmother of the student. My observation is based on almost a daily basis. Learning skills improved and the classroom seemed to encourage a pleasant learning atmosphere. I also want to address that if you are new to the community that acceptance is not the norm. Most of the students have studied and worshiped together since kindergarten. Having been a big supporter for fundraisers, dinners, and programs I can tell you only a few parents and no teachers were interested in who l was or my family. As the year progressed in all fairness COVID impacted the classroom experience. Finally after purchases were made (a computer) in anticipation of going to the sixth grade after a 4 hour assessment my grandchild was told he would not be entering the sixth grade. The reason given was his maturity level. He still needs supervision. Maybe so .but to be abruptly told more or less go elsewhere after a4 hour assessment smacks of anything but a Christian School. Is it not the teacher’s roll to instruct and give parent’s feedback? I find it interesting that the students that have studied and worshiped to together had no problems entering six grade. As for my family they are looking for a Christian school that will be a good fit for a bright child.

My granddaughter attends KCS and we love it. The teachers are caring and loving.

We love KCS - it has helped teach our BOY how to become a gentleman and to have character, dignity and respect. He has become a leader and has been taught FAR more than our older two children who have been in public school. I love the teachers and the administration. I do not attend church there and have NEVER seen favorites or anything like the negative comments below.

This school and it's administration can't tell the truth if the had to, they give Christians a bad name. I am so upset with this school and their underhanded tactics and them playing favorites, shame on them. I also was contacted several times by the school as were other parents to leave a review. Most of these reviews are forced to be made by parents. Not real choice, not if you wanted your child to be included.

I really like the small class rooms and the teachers are wonderful. Every teacher knows every student. My son said thay one of his favorite classes is Bible.
