I go to this school and this school is TERRIBLE, sports are the school's pride and they will most likely be full of mean, rude and disrespectful kids, they will also bully, A LOT. If you report a bully, most likely the kids you report on are these sports players, they will defend those with everything they have. The teachers really don't care about the children because they are already getting paid, if you want to keep your child safe, don't try this school, there are fights almost daily, and the teachers only separate and don't care who started it. If you have no choice but this school, your child needs to be independent and not very trusting of things. They try to squeeze every last dime out of you for the simplest reasons. If you have a special needs child, don't look into this school because they only pay teachers to be there and leave the special needs children to their own devices. If i could, I would give MDJH a ZERO STARS.

Educationally my son could have worked better with the teachers but there were several teachers who as adults would not work with him. My main complaint was the bullying issue. They do more to protect the bullies then help the kids being bullied. All three years that my son attended he was bullied. Out of respect for my son I will not be sharing details but please parents be wary and understand that their system for handling bullies is broken.

not a good school some staff are rude and no really helpful

I enrolled my daughter there recently. The counselor she had is awesome, but the cafeteria staff was really rude to my child and the school itself could use a revamp. It mirrors an elementary school more than a high school. On my child's first day, there was a fight in the restroom involving 10 students that proved to be gang related. Unfortunately after receiving that information, I not only feared for my child, but began to look into other options for education in our area. We live no where near that school and my kids are bused all the way to these schools off of Mason Rd. The kids at Morton Ranch and McDonald are very "harsh" and I would not even recommend buying a house in the area until 2017 when the new schools are completed and the new zoning is in effect! I live on the other side of the Grand Parkway and this is ridiculous.

Very helpful staff at the time of admission for my 6th grader child. Everything went pretty smooth.It is a good school but there are some improvements areas such as follow ups on parents queries but overall a nice school.Teachers are very helpful, motivating and fully engaged in student's activities.
