I am a student currently at Jarrell and to be Frank last year was so great like it was amazing but this year the school changed everything that made me happy to go to school and when a student is unmotivated they feel not as a student but as a prisoner and what prisoners do is revolt last year durin
Posted by a student on 8/13/2026I'm the parent of a 14-year-old student at Jarrell High School. Well, on Monday, I got a call — not from school, but from a social worker at a hospital in Temple, almost 30 minutes away — stating my child had been transported to the hospital as a minor, without the presence of a legal guardian. I wa
Posted by a parent on 11/7/2025i’m a kid in highschool, i honestly think jarrell really is a good place. yes some kids may be bad but that doesn’t affect our whole school. sports are great, band is great, the teachers are nice and do their job pretty well
Posted by a parent on 6/9/2021Overall, bad ! They have no organization. The teachers don't help struggling students. Kids vape every where and no one does anything. I could go on and on . But don't move to Jarrell and definitely don't choose Jarrell schools
Posted by a parent on 11/6/2020It's a great school with kind students as well as hard working staff.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy wife works there and one of my children attends. This wont last much longer. The Admin is absolutely atrocious. Their current VP and Principal put the sped kids above everyone else. Punishments for students are inconsistent and ineffective. Their thought process truly makes no sense. Until they are gone, this school, but more importantly the kids, will suffer.Apparently its ok for kids to hit teachers now...truly sad.Parent Review11mo ago - Igo Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child attends Igo. He has made very good progress while at the school. His teachers send home work relevant to his goals so I can help him practice at home. In kindergarten my son was struggling to learn letter sounds and this year he is reading words. His behavior has improved and he has more confidence.Parent Review1y ago - Double Creek Elementary School
