Jacksonville Middle School

My daughter is in K. First, the bus system is terrible. They lost my 5 yr old twice and then blamed her. Her teacher only cares about all the students being sheep and learning to conform to her teaching rather than trying to reach the students in how they learn. She has no desire to motivate the students and no idea how to redirect the lively ones. After complaining to the teacher, the counselor and the asst principle I can still get nothing done to help my daughter. The asst principle dropped the ball, got called on it and passed it off to the counselor who also dropped the ball and did nothing. So even though I started trying to get something done in Nov, mid April we've still got nothing in place to help my kid. They could care less.

I've been a parent at West Side for the last 5 yrs & had my oldest son in this school as well. I've never had a complaint at all. The entire staff is amazing! You will not find a school that teaches, loves, care, & encourages your child like West Side!

Horrible principle. Treated my family like scum because we homeschooled our kids for a year. Had to relocate our kids to a better school outside the JISD school district

I know the principal and many of the staff members at this school. They do a great job!
