Thomas Middle School

I was a student at Alcott Elementary in 1965. I can recall that snow cones were sometimes sold after school. My "Review" is for the school Teachers & Administration from that time.I read the school's ratings, & it's sad, but not a shocker.

I often go up to the school to see my daughter. The entire staff is very welcoming and accommodating. They actively encourage parent participation and involvement. They're Great!

I dislike this school very unprofessional behavior from all the employees I’ve encountered

Principal Shankle is the new Principal here and is doing a great job along with his awesome staff!! He is improving the school as we speak. If you are deciding rather or not you your child should go or return to Law you should go! Principal Shankle cares about his students, staff and parents and definitely has the heart and hard work it takes to improve the school. I support him!

I honestly believe this school has potential to be an A++, it lacks leadership (Principal is too worried for her success and personal life), restroom were always dirty 2016-2017 (school website read janitor is on premises however, she is always sitting down on the reception desk. I once asked her what she did? Her reply was reception that the principal and accountant gave her the janitorial title due to the fact that Diocese does not approve the receptionist.) I believe if the Diocese approved for a Janitor then the school should have one. Thus school restroom and kitchen were always dirty. --School needs to change staff and leadership.
