Spring Oaks Middle School

We love PSE. Our kids are thriving. They speak two languages and score very high on the standardized tests. The parents are highly involved, volunteer often, and have become great friends to our family. The school is maintained well and staffed by enthusiastic, loving teachers.

My little girl has been in this school since kindergarten and was bullied until the beginning of second grade also got dropped off in wrong bus stop at a very dangerous area in the neighborhood this school does not really let parents engage in activities with the kids. My daughter has only had one field trip in the 3 yrs and it was just making slime I don’t feel like they really care for the students .communication is horrible list goes on and on

Would not recommend school, they are very biased towards POC. My child was neglected at the school many times coming home with a broken arm, dehydrated because they refused her water at school after playing in 80 degree weather, she also came home more than once with hives. Until my child has attended she’s never had any issues like this and the principal is very hard to get into contact with and the staff is disrespectful and unorganized. They definitely do not have the best interest of your child at heart.

Love this school so much. It's a little gem in our neighborhood.

I had an IEP meeting for my daughter on 5/21/2025 to receive a phone, since I couldn't be there in person, that I signed a document. They never called me, I called the school, the lady at the front desk said, give her five minutes, she will call me back, hours passed by, so I called again & left a voicemail mail, with my information & i still not received a phone call back. Have yourself a fabulous day.
