Ponderosa Elementary School

HORRIBLE!!! The teachers are unprofessional and argumentative!! I cannot believe some of them are even educated. The principal is all over the place. And the curriculum is very poor. My daughter attended this school for 2 years. After 2 years enough was enough. I felt she was barely being taught and the teachers talk to the kids crazy. I purposely spent a bunch of money to move out of the district and I am glad at my decision. My child doesn’t have any issues at the new school. And the curriculum is better. If you are new to the area and care about your students education I’d suggest looking into a private school or charter school. Trust me!

Tengo una fatal experiencia, ya que mi niño que es autista lo han golpeado constantemente por compañeros de su clase y dos veces su maestro también y no han hecho nada al respecto, he hido hablar con la junta directiva , con el distrito y no han hecho nada , prometen y no hacen nada , he tenido que llevar a mi niño al médico con su cabeza partida y aún estoy esperando respuesta de la escuela , no recomiendo esa escuela y más para padres que tengan niños especiales .Padres no tengan miedo de defender a sus hijos a cualquier nivel , pues ellos dependen de nuestra protección.

En general es muy buena escuela, su personal tiene una calidad Humana increible. Gracias Joselin por siempre dar el support cuando lo hemos necesitado.

Three year old was put out and received notification on Saturday. Administration was rude.

We found Greystone House after a long search for schools. Our primary concern was to find someone that would love our daughter and provide her care, but at the same time give her consistent and quality education that would help her to learn in a safe environment and in a way that was empathetic to her needs.We were not disappointed. The love and care that was shown to our daughter has been amazing. From the age of 21/2 to the time that she left after Kindergarten ended, the staff at Greystone House were like family. They showed nothing but absolute dedication in providing excellent education to our child. This place is amazing.Our daughter has now started at public school but if Greystone had gone into elementary we would have stayed.Highly recommended this school!

Every first time parents always have the fear of leaving their only child somewhere to be taken care of. Well I am not exceptional. But at Abiding, I found it settling. The environment,the energy and effort every educator/instructor has in this school, is phenomenal. I was certain that my kid will get the best and shall be the best. She has!. The change that I have seen, I will highly recommend this school everyday. Thank you teachers and pastors for what you do every day. I pray for more strength to all of you.

I have been blessed to be a parent of Northwood for almost 4 years! This is not a typical environment; it is a prepared environment! It is one of only 3 accredited schools in the Houston area that are accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), the organization dedicated to maintaining the practice and pedagogy principles formulated by Dr. Maria Montessori.From 18 months to 6 years, this school focuses on their moral, behavioral, emotional, and intellectual development - the WHOLE CHILD. The teachers & staff are well trained and love the children as if they were THEIR OWN. My children love to learn, are so kind, respectful, and confident. In addition to the traditional work period, Northwood also offers afterschool care in the "Home Environment Room" as well as parenting classes in the evenings two months out of the year that have helped me on my parenting journey! Thank you to the staff, our Northwood family, for all you do every day!
