If your child is smart and doesn't need to be taught for the test, don't send him/her there. HISD has great Vanguard and Magnet schools with the gifted program. Posted by a parent on 5/13/2010Have you read the Houston's Chronicle school report card? Martin didn't even make it to the 400 school list in the Houston area. I can tell you that the last ones on that list are not good schools, so where is Martin? Only 3 schools in the Alief district made it on the list. I am so disappointed!
