It felt like my child was constantly being singled out, misunderstood, and treated differently than the white students. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to watch your child be labeled or disciplined over things that other kids were simply redirected for.To make matters worse, communication with staff has been dismissive, unprofessional, and lacking basic compassion. Instead of working with me, they escalated situations unnecessarily and made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter. I’m removing my child from this school because it’s clear this environment is not built for kids who don’t fit their mold.If you are a parent of a child of color, please be cautious.
