I love the school, the teachers are great and love the enrironment. All staff are great and make my students feel safe.

This school is not worth your time, just look at the location it speaks for itself. The TAKS scores have been low at this school for a while so don't believe the hype, and the teachers academics are based around nothing but the TAKS. I know children that have come out of this school and do not know the basics in order to succeed in middle school. There has been so many complaints at HISD admin building regarding this school. My child was in boy scout there and complained how the leader was not watching the troop when another little boy was hurt. I would recommend you try another school this school is known to have a bad reputation. I wish I would had taken heed when I was informed by another parent about this school, I would have never sent them there. I moved them to another school in another district where they are getting the education they need because they were not getting it there.

There are a few good people in that school, so I don't want to rate this school as bad. I've had some bad experiences with the staff. They aren't always helpful. I wish they cared more about the parents. We are concerned parents. We have rights. We should be able to communicate with one another and voice our opinions. We should feel comfortable asking for help. I think this school would be better if parents were treated with respect . Also, there's not much going on for the students. No after school activities, there was boy scouts and soccer for a while..but it was for boys only. There also hasn't been school program, Where we as parents could watch our children perform. We are missing out on school memories. There could be fundraisers like movie nights like they do at other schools to raise money. Scarborough Elementary needs changes.

This school is constantly improving. This year, new exciting groups will be Engineer Pink, Robotics Team and Stop Motion Animation Club. We will also have Dance, Choir, Piano and Integrated Art.

Best decision I’ve ever made for my daughter. I love Kipp. My daughter has thrived at this school. Huge shoutout to Mrs. Lewis and Mrs. Alvarez for making a big difference in our kiddos lives. My daughter will continue going here.
