My son has been at Deerwood since kindergarten and is now going into 4th grade. We have been treated like family by everyone. It is such a great environment, full of love and support.

Posted by a teacher on 9/21/2011I don't think I'll ever forget routinely passing by a darkened (all-day, every day) 1st-grade classroom where the students were "resting," (another daily event) i.e. crawling all over the floor, and the teacher was painting her toenails and texting. Not at the same time, of course. . .true story. Bu

I really wanted to give the school another chance as we have several friends who are happy with the school. I have to say we were still very disappointed. The TAKS is still the main focus and the teachers we encountered

She has made several friends at this school. Good teachers and staff. Many interesting activities. Teachers are good in the younger graders but 4th and especially 5th grade teachers are horrible. Both have been engaged, excelled and loved their teachers and friends. The learning environment is inclusive and uplifting. The teachers are fantastic. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at Willow Creek was overall negative. We had a few awesome teachers, but we also had some really terrible ones. I did not have good experiences with the front desk admin, registrar, principal, and a few teachers. The environment was generally toxic and I’m glad my kids are out of there now.
