Read what parents are saying about Danish Elementary SchoolGreat school, it is Bilingual so I have seen progress on my child
Posted by a parent on 2/12/20205 experience because the teachers dose talk about your children behind there backs to other teachers because they are judged mental and there is bullying that goes on there and that's why I moved my child out of the school because they were picking on her.
Posted by a parent on 12/7/20189.... I think the teachers and admin try to put the student first and take training seriously.
Posted by a parent on 6/26/2018Not happy with this school and never have been. I can't wait to move my kids out of this school because they complain every day about their unhappiness there. The staff are very unpleasant, and they don't show compassion or a willingness to help children succeed. My child was humiliated in front of a teacher and the teachers tend to gossip about the children. Teachers have admitted that they 'hear about students before they enter their classrooms at the beginning of the year'. That means they immediately judge the students and don't give them a fair and fresh start from year to year. Every child deserves unconditional love and compassion, but unfortunately my children have NOT received that from this school. Not to mention, the very poor influences in the classroom. My kids deserve a better education than the one provided at this establishment. Teachers and staff are supposed to bring out the best in students and not crush their spirits! Proceed with caution!
Posted by a parent on 5/19/2017We are fairly new to Danish elementary. My 3 children have been there 5 months now, and i have no complaints. My children love it. Their teachers have been very welcoming and responsive to my inquiries. They challenge my kids and are there for support as well. Information comes home in a timely fashion. Changes to schedules/calendars are communicated to the parents. I've had several encounters with the office staff and they've all been pleasant. It's still early on, but so far i think the school is pretty good. And I'm a picky parent.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy autistic son was assaulted twice at this school. CFISD police did nothing. The elementary schools in this district are not capable of helping autistic kids. Notice all the new reports? Ask around, the moms will tell you.Parent Review1y ago - Matzke Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is terrible this is my daughter's fifth year and she hates it she comes home crying every single day the teachers do nothing but sit around so if I had to rate it the teaching here is terrible her safety is also terrible there have been multiple robbers at this school and last be not least the lunch. When i went to my daughter's school to eat lunch with her i found hair in my pizza. So overall I would rate it a 0/10Parent Review1y ago - Millsap Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children experienced bullying, physical, sexual and emotional abuse from peers. New administration hardly did anything about it. Bullies kept on doing what they wanted. My children were not protected.Parent Review8mo ago - Willbern Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent with helping when going through a crisis as well as with special needs kids. I am blessed to have them in my two kids life. No problem. Great teachers and staff. Great school. Love the diversity. Everyone is equal. 4th grade son and my special needs child attend here. They provided everything so that they would be together in our crisis ie . Transportation counseling, expedient response in our crisis. Very passionate staff.Other Review1y ago - Emmott Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe 2022-2023 school year at Emmott Elementary for my kids has been very disappointing. I have a child in 1st grade and one in 3rd grade. Some of their teachers this year have pushed my kids to dislike school which has made it difficult for me to engage and help them. First, there has been such lack of communication from some of their teachers; the assistant principles only reach out after I had to send emails of issues about the teachers (unresolved) My daughter has a new teacher she doesn't engage well, I only spoke with her during field day, she advertently let me know she gave my daughter a passing grade for reading but then said it was a mistake and that she would call me to discuss, never happened and yes my daughter is stilll passing. My son's 7th week of school and his 1st grade teacher tells me he needs special education help. I say do your own research about (HB3)funding and teacher incentives I will leave that there! Secondly, I was on a conference with 2 teachers whom I never spoke to ever that's been helping my daughter with reading. I was accused by one of the teachers of not having the correct contact # on file and I quickly sent them a screenshot email proving my number has been updated since the beginning of the year because I get voicemails of upcoming hiring events, attendance etc.. I realized that specific teachers (not all the teachers) are not being held accountable for their mistakes from management there's lack of ownership as a whole, lack of belonging, engagement and inclusion for my kids this year. Again, I am only speaking from my experience not all teachers at Emmott lack. My daughter has been fortunate to have 1 really good teacher this year thank god. Lastly, I thought after-school tutoring would help but the school doesn't have specific resources to tutor in smaller groups, I quickly realized after-school tutoring wasn't helping my son after I found out he ended up with different teachers and was not getting help on what he needed. This review is only depicted on my experience from a couple of their teachers and not doesn't reflect on other kids or teachers at Emmott. Parents are here to help, and it's hard to do when there is lack of communication and engagement from teachers. From other Emmott reviews I see on google, Emmott is 50% below average, I don't have actual data just doing my research like any parent would. I would add a lot more but Im limited on characters for this review.Parent Review1y ago - Christ the Redeemer
