My son has grown so much in the past year and love that PreK and Kinder have 2 teachers in the classroom to make sure student needs are met. Posted by a parent on 11/10/2021My son is in the vanguard kindergarten. They have done an excellent job both teaching him discipline (he can be a bit wild and talk out of turn) and academics. He came into kindergarten reading, but reluctantly. He now reads willingly and at a 4th to 5th grade level (Captain underpants and the like)

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf possible, I would give this school 1 and a half stars. I substituted there today along with a few other people. The 5th graders from many classes behaved terribly, and that was with their teachers still in the building for training. I have been there to substitute before and overall student behavior has gotten worse. I've been there for other grades as well. He is challenged by the dual language program which is a benefit for him. One went on to Chrysalis Intermediate next door and love that it was only 100 students so she had a lot of one on one assistance from her teachers.
