William E Wylie Elementary School

I do enjoy some of the teachers at this school and luckily my daughter I believe had the most amazing teacher Mrs.Goodwin....however they are VERY strict to a point that they dont allow the children to be kids...I've noticed some teachers yelling at children in their faces and getting in their faces.....they also are VERY judgemental....by the grace of God I dont have finacial problems but those who do are snared down upon and are treated as if they are garbage....the adults are all about gossip....for the community to be so Faith based this school is full of hypocrites! It is ashame because the school does have potential...=/

My daughter attended this school from K-8th grade and my son since Pre-K and now is in 5th grade. This is so much more than a school, it is a family. The parents, teachers, and administration all pull together to promote Christian guidelines while maintaining strong academic standards. My children are learning to become great leaders in the community and are grounded in their faith. I attribute it largely to this school. With the school being small, the children have the opportunity to become involved in all sorts of activities including sports, academics, art, and theater. They are able to go out into the community for numerous service projects, field trips, and learning opportunities that they cannot get with larger schools. It is ACSI accredited so the courses will transfer to other schools and the rigorous academics prepare children for college.
