5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandkids attended here 2022-2024, this is the worst experience we’ve ever had to endure. Their disciplinary actions are poor, kids can bully other students constantly without getting appropriate discipline. They get talked to and given another chance while the bullying continued. I was so stressed out over my grandkids being bullied on the bus every single day last year by the same 2 people. The bus staff never wrote them up and I had to constantly contact one of the VP. She was the only one who would do the most to get it under control. She rode the bus and followed up with a reprimand if needed. There was one 2nd grade teacher that talked down to the students, telling they shouldn’t be in that grade level and that she doubt if they would finish high school. I had to address this several times. 23-24 school year was the worst. I pray that this school with the new Administration is much better for the sake of all children. I read that parent pick up has changed and that’s a positive direction. It was not safe and horrible before. Here’s to a great school year at HHES.Parent Review1y ago11 Reviews - Nolanville Elementary School

Stay away from this school! It went way down hill when new admin came in!Parent Review2mo ago16 Reviews - Mountain View Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei was a former student at this school when i lived here. i am far past the grade that i was when i was here but i feel as if its important to let people know what i experienced when i was here.my years here were my 2nd and 3rd grade years, 2015-2017. this school was miserable. it starts way too early and ends way too late, i recall waking up at 5am on some days just so my mom was able to get ready to leave on time.not to mention my experience with counselors. i experience major depressive disorder, and as a child, it was very evident. my counselor did not care. i told her these things when she had kept me in her office for hours and pressed on me to admit, and then proceeded to kick me out of the school because i was a danger to others and could spread my sadness. these teachers didn’t care for your student, and they probably still don’t.they restrict learning if you’re in second grade and under. you’re not allowed to go to specific sections of the library, and you get in trouble if you do. you get in trouble for *reading* if you read at a higher level then normal.this school also facilitates bullying. luckily, i wasn’t, but the teachers wouldn’t care if you were. no one cares about anything here, they just want your paycheck.the only redeeming thing i have to say is that the specials were kind of fun and i had good friends. that’s it.Other Review1y ago20 Reviews - Skipcha Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall, a pretty good school. My child feels safe and supported, which I appreciate. Some teachers seem overwhelmed and less patient—likely due to large class sizes. While they offer academic help, I wish they took more time to understand each child’s strengths, especially for gifted students. The front office experience has declined since a new administrator started in 2024. Their passive-aggressive attitude and unwelcoming demeanor make the office feel less inviting. I hope the school works on improving this, as a warm environment makes a big differenceParent Review11mo ago24 Reviews - Maude Moore Wood Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageEven though my younger sister learns well at this school, this building is also very fond of having full grown people bully and belittle kids, which is crazy because if you don’t like children or can’t keep your patience with them then you shouldn’t be working there. The other week my sister got yelled at for trying to go to her split class, which they are REQUIRED to do, and one of the lunch workers (I think) started yelling at her telling her to come back, but the thing is the kids were all trying to tell her it’s time to go to different classes. This lady responded by telling my sister that she is a girl and she needs to stop acting tough and clapping in her face like she was trying to fight a little girl. So I have gotten my sister to call all her friends and ask what her name was, and it’s a shame that none of my sister’s friends know who this lady is (mind you she has a LOT of friends), it just shows how nobody cares about her or even wants to be around somebody as sloppy and miserable. To make matters worse, even the counselor and other staffs were just standing there watching while trying to shush up my sister like she was supposed to let somebody talk to her in that type of way. At the end of the day, I’d prefer that lady to work as a dump truck driver because the stench matches her attitude and how she looks. Stop talking to people’s kids with disrespect if you don’t want people to disrespect you.Other Review5mo ago3 Reviews
