Highland Lakes Elementary School

My daughter went to school at highland lakes last year and we had to take her out early because she kept getting lice... I went to the school and tried to complain the first time and the teacher said she knows of kids infested with it and they don't send them home and so after treating her 5 times we decided if this school doesn't care enough to get rid of the problem we would check her out of the school and sure enough.... nothing was being done!!! I wouldn't recommend this school for that reason.

For the most part it's a very good school. There are some great teachers, but there are a few... that you have to watch! Our 1st grader was very happy & had an incredible teacher. Our Kinder had a extremely NEGATIVE teacher that has NO business teaching! She almost ruined the year for our student & for us! Not a good experience for a little person! Please if suspect your child is being singled out... check it out! They might very well be! :(
