Glen Rose Intermediate School

As a parent of a student at Glen Rose Intermediate School, I am thrilled with the school's approach to education. The staff goes above and beyond in providing an all-encompassing approach to educating their students. It's not just about academic instruction, but also about actively involving parents and providing support for the students.I have seen firsthand how the school engages with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and encourages them to be involved in their child's education. The teachers are incredibly supportive and dedicated to their students, creating a safe and nurturing learning environment.The school also provides excellent student support services, ensuring that all students have access to the resources they need to thrive academically and emotionally. My child has benefited greatly from the school's comprehensive approach and I am grateful for the dedicated and caring staff at Glen Rose Intermediate School. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a top-notch education for their child!

This is our first year at GR Intermediate. I feel the communication between parents and teachers and the school is almost non-existent. I have to do a great deal of searching to find current information from both parties. They do a very poor job of keeping things up to date as a school. Also, our teacher did a very poor job of communication. I never knew what my child was doing or what was going on in the classroom. The only thing I ever found out about were things to order and parties. In my opinion, this reflects the leadership of the school......not so great.

The current principal has been there 5 years and is a very caring and motivational leader. All of the staff members are awesome.

Glen Rose School Districts have some of the best education in Texas, we have one of the highest STAAR Scores and excellent teachers. The teachers are like my second parents. It is nice to have this type of school district in such a small town. Also, an important thing to think about is drama or bullying, anytime when I was bullied, the teachers would handle the issue and it would never happen again. So, I guess my point is, Glen Rose Schools are a safe place for me to go and get an education, I actually enjoy school and I feel like it is a safe place to be at.

I agree 100% with the post dated April 21, 2004!!!! We moved our children OUT of this school district. It is the BEST decision we ever made!!!!
