Community Montessori School

Both of my children went to Teravista Elementary School. I can’t say enough about the talented teachers, welcoming environment, Administrators and Leadership Program.There is something special about this school inside and out, as it also is in the center of a beautiful community.Throughout all the years my children have attended, there have been a few challenges to address. As we partnered with the school to help our kids (as they have unique learning profiles), in all situations we were able to come together to create the best outcome possible!I am beyond grateful we chose Teravista to move to as the elementary school was a main factor. Shout out to Mr. Wakefield (the principal) for being a hard working, dedicated public servant who leads always with positivity and a love for the students and community. He is amazing!

I don't want my child to be at a school where the current principal is an administrator.

I used to go there and I loved it sooo much it was so fun but not when people would get into fights and arguments and stuff.

My daughter been going to wolf ranch elementary a 1 year and a half and my daughter has been through the trenches she was touch inappropriately by another student and bullied so bad. She would come home with bruises from other students and tears and I’ve seen her love for school go down hill. I’ve made numerous attempts to talk to her teacher and and the school all her teacher said is it’s not bully and the school never replies back.

We just finished our first year at Mitchell and had an amazing year. Staff was kind, caring, and very responsive to any/all questions. My son blossomed over the year and is excited and happy to go to school each day! We can't wait for another year at Mitchell!

We have had children at this school since 2012 and we have been very pleased with how well our children were prepared for High School and college both intellectually and spiritually. Socially, as with any school, there are a few bullies in every class. My children worked though it, learned how to stand up for themselves and built upon the tough experiences and channeled them into something positive. Socially, changing from a small class with 20ish kids to a class with 300, there is an adjustment period, the social dynamic is very different.Our eldest daughter is currently at A&M starting her sophomore year (was an auto admin and is in the engineering honors program) (she lettered in Robotics in High School and graduated 11th out of 272 kids) Our son is a current sophomore at Liberty Hill High School (has lettered in Robotics, Fishing and Tennis) and our youngest is finishing 2nd at St. Helen Catholic School. This program has done an excellent job teaching our children how to think for themselves, ask questions, speak publicly, push themselves academically, and has helped provide confidence in their religious beliefs and further strengthened their moral backbones. For us, this program is worth the commute from Liberty Hill to St. Helen in Georgetown. We look forward to our 8 year old growing in her faith and excelling academically as her older siblings have. I would recommend to children going from 8th grade to High School, that they get involved in school activities and clubs. It will help a big school feel small and not so overwhelming.

The principal and leadership have really turned this school around. Great structured environment, focused on growing learning, and happy, positive atmosphere.
