Spears Elementary School

This Elementary school is excellent. The teachers are caring, the environment is safe, and students learn important basic skills while also having fun. It’s a great place for children to grow, learn, and build confidence.

Its a great school.However,parents are overly involved and extremly cliquey.Good Teacher,good environment.

Mrs Trina is a wonderful pre-k teacher. My child adores her. She’s attentive to every child and their needs. My child has improved on abc, shapes, reading and math. All of the staff at the school is very caring.

Both of my sons attended LCA for multiple years and graduated. It was a great experience and my sons were well prepared for college. I found the staff to be very loving and caring. My son's had many truly excellent teachers. As a former educator myself, this was very important to me. A few were not excellent, yet the school listened to parents and those teachers either found other assignments or were not invited back. The school is to be commended for this. The social support system my sons had was amazing. Godly coaches and faculty poured into them. One of my son's utilized the learning center for hyper focused ADHD. It was well run and the staff taught him how to manage himself over time. They were very caring and really made a difference in his life. By college he really didn't even need extra time on tests due to the strategies he learned from the learning center. A small private school is not equipped to handle severe disabilities, yet they do a great job on what they advertise being able to cover. I believe any private Christian school will always not live up to some peoples expectations simply because no place is perfect. Why do we expect humans to be perfect? We can never measure up. Most of the families that attend want excellent academics, sports, extra curricular, and students growing to become who God made them to be. There are always a few who are at a private school for the wrong reasons. I again say though these are outliers at LCA. Will students make mistakes along the way? Absolutely! Will teachers/staff make some mistakes? You can count on it. With that said, we found LCA to be a very loving place for our kids to "grow up and learn." Was it perfect? Of course not...but honestly I felt like it was worth every single penny. It was a sacrifice that I'm glad we made. I highly recommend LCA to anyone considering a Faith based private school with excellent academics. It was an excellent environment for my sons and our family.
