There's a district-wide focus on sports, building construction, and STAAR tests. In order to improve, this campus should communicate better, offer more opportunities for a well-rounded education, and make better use of instructional time. Grades 5-8.

Excellent principal & some fine teachers, but I think it could use improvement in areas like: curriculum (seems weak, muddled); overemphasis on standardized tests; lack of PTA/parent "voice"; and counterproductive disciplinary approach (punishing an entire class based on actions of a few students helps nothing). Other options include nearby schools, private schools, online public schools & home school.
