David K Sellars Elementary School

From kindergarten to 4th grade of this yr 2025, I really want to give a shout out to all of the teachers here. They really do care about the students and really do give thier all. Right now its principal number 3 so stability principal wise I dont see it here, however it's the teachers and the staff who really give it thier all and I really do appreciate them. As parents we need to step it up way more so the teachers dont have all of the fall back, teachers are here to teach and educate our children not a free babysitter and am hoping more parents reliaze this. This school location is great right across the police station, with more parent support, a stable principal we can turn this around.

I have been disappointed in Glen Park Elementary the last few years. These kids work so hard all year and with the Covid situation have been confined to being in home to going back to school only to have a horrible field day when other Elementary schools where able to be attend. Also with these kids graduating this is a big accomplishment for them for them to have to virtual I think it’s ridiculous after all they have been through when other Elementary schools have allowed a normal graduation. I’m sad that my now 5th grader will have a memory of a virtual graduation. I also glad she will be leaving this school.

WM Green is a great school. I know most good reviews are from parents or faculty that are still there. I unfortunately have to change my sons school because we're moving. I feel my son excelled wonderfully at this school. Ms. Woodard and Ms. Rangel are excellent in the Pre-k department. Just watching the faculty interact with the students makes you feel like they are at home and safe. I've nvr seen a campus worker give as much effort encouraging kids and hyping them up for the day as Mr. Hodge does. Hate that I can't keep my son there.

Great teachers. No PTA. The AP is great and always visible. It is evident the principal has staff favorites, including the counselor. The counselor never does her job because she e follows the principal around. I asked for counseling for my son,and she never assisted.

This school does not provide the proper resources for students who are disadvantaged or with special needs. They simply view students and teachers as statistics and nothing more. The vibe of this school is so bad, if you have to pick between this one and another ECC please pick another one.

One of my favorite parts of the year is seeing our theatre program bring the entire school together for a large, fantastic performance.You’ll also see older students mentoring younger ones, creating a culture where students are known, heard, and truly valued.Our teachers love Jesus and others and are deeply committed to our mission: to graduate Godly leaders who will impact the community by serving others with excellence.It’s not a perfect place—but then again, what family is? What it is, though, is a place you can call home.
