I visited this school for my Pre-K child to help him find other children his age. Parents are treated like children. The staff is like Barney Fife on steroids. God forbid you should ask them something that is not routine. They act as if they are doing you a favor by taking the time to answer questions. I think this school could improve by treating parents as customers. It is the taxes that pay their salaries. Also, as a parent am comparing the core curriculum to that of other schools in bigger cities and adding to my child's learning. Raising/Teaching your child is a partnership.

The current principal is not good at all.He intimidates both faculty and students.Have had several experiences with bullying and both teachers and principal say it's part of growing up.As a concerned parent I am 100% unsatisfied with the way things are done at Alamo Elementary.
