Read what parents are saying about Zach White Elementary SchoolWe used to love this school but the culture has changed for the worse with new administration. Parents no longer feel welcome at this school. Teachers are not held accountable for their treatment of students. The amazing teachers also do not seem as happy. This used to be a wonderful small school that felt like a close knit community. Social emotional learning used to be a priority. Now all they do is teach for standardized testing. Very sad.
Posted by a parent on 2/26/2023If you have a special needs child, stay far away from this school. I have two. And we will be leaving to find a better educational facility. We are not communicated with accordingly and my children are not being protected nor provided for their needs. They have been bullied, and have been continually Singled out, and made examples of, including with me in the pick up line. They demand answers for the needs of your children, with whom they are supposed to be accommodating. Covid made everything worse, but this school made our family life un-bearable.

Posted by a parent on 2/24/2022I went to Zach White growing up and now my children do. When you walk into Zach White you can feel the Love from the administration, teachers and staff. I have walked into other schools and it felt like I was walking into Jail. At Zach White my children feel safe, get extra tutoring when needed, and both have grown so much this past year. My kids are flourishing despite all of the negative components of being in a pandemic.

Teachers communicate effectively with me and show a genuine interest in my child. Administration is deeply involved and doesn't depend on delegating completely to others. N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIron sharpens iron When we moved to El Paso in 2014, we were looking for private Christian education for our 3 children. We looked into two of the most well-known options, St. Marks and St. Matthews. While we might easily have settled for one of the two, something called us to dig deeper for our kids. I am not quite sure how we stumbled upon Community of Faith Christian School, but after the first visit I was glad we hadn't settled for the others. The small class sizes allow the dedicated cadre of teachers to take these kids to the upper echelons of academic excellence. In spite of the rigour, the kids really support each other so that no one is made to feel like they don't belong. Perhaps the only downside is that, given the small class sizes, everyone has to pull together to raise funds. We were surprised to learn the school has been around for over 30 years, because it seems like the best-kept secret in west El Paso education. In any event, this hidden gem of a school deserves wider publicity. If you are seeking a truly exceptional educational experience for your child, there is one elite school that stands apart from the rest: CFCS.Parent Review9y ago
