Major changes to the schools environment. Students and parents have new leadership and the school is more welcoming. New principal is very caring and attentive to the needs of students, parents, and teachers. With this change in leadership, hopefully it will curb absences and raise attendance.

This is the absolute WORST school you could send your child to. There is no care for students mental health and well being. Students with disabilities are treated with no dignity and are not given the help they need to succeed. They are singled out, bullied, and not treated with the proper care. There is minimal or no training for students with disabilities, and it shows. Staff is quick to treat your child with no patience or compassion. I highly do not recommend this school do to the bullying and interrogation. Academics are proven to be at an all time low here and students are very ugly and disrespectful.

i went to this school as a child and LOVED school but the way they hire teachers that dread the job and are passive aggressive with children is insane. i moved from chicago to texas and got registered for 4-5th grade, had a teacher yank off my accessories that my grandmother would put on me and claw her literal nails in my arm trying to get me to switch desks when it could’ve simply been communicated. wish this school would take the hiring process a lot more seriously .

When my son attended this school a couple of years ago, it was nothing but trouble. The curriculum is non existent, the principal is a terrible leader and some of the teachers feel entitled. Teachers have no idea what they are teaching. My son was assaulted by a senior when he was in seventh grade and nothing was done to this student. We were charged for books that weren’t used or he didn’t receive. It was the most horrible experience and I regret sending my son to this school. I do not recommend at all.

We chose to enroll our daughter in pre-k here after she attended a daycare with a larger group of children. We absolutely love the small class sizes and the dedication of the teachers, who are clearly passionate about what they do. The school sets high standards for respect and behavior in the classroom, and it truly makes a difference—our daughter has become so respectful and well-mannered. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose this school over others. It has such a wonderful sense of community.
