Posted by a parent on 9/18/2025I graduated in 2000 and was involved in both band and softball, and now my son is enrolled there and is involved in both band and ROTC and I love the fact that he's seen nothing but positivity there as well did I before graduation.

Posted by a community member on 4/12/2017My husband and I are both Andress Alumni as well as a lot of our family.. Our Daughter attends now and the school is still awesome!! No complaints at all!! She has awesome friends and makes wonderful grades. Its all about how you make your time at school and the choices you make.

All my kids have attended this school and anytime we’ve had a problem they solve it and care. Office staff really friendly and go above and beyond to help. They have video announcement every Friday for students and parents which helps as reminders as events come up. Principal cares and knows every school on the campus which says alot. The higher staff such as principals and assistant principals are very neglectful and compulsive liars. He would come home with scratches in in face arms and body and the would blame it on their jewelry and reassuring me that they were reporting everything to the nurse. My son would also complain that his teacher wouldn't feel him sometimes and when I asked the teacher she very boldly didn't deny it. When I spoke to the principal she told me she would start an investigation. Once she got the district involved my son started getting about 2 referrals a day until they had enough to kick him out of this horrific school. They had a reading parade this past Friday and even got mascots from UTEP, Peter Piper, and the Locomotives to come!
