Great school, my child had wonderful teachers that communicated really well, throughout the school year!

If your children are zoned to attend this school, do not walk, RUN the other way. My child has been bullied by teachers here. The principals show little concern.

When my child attended the teachers at this facility were great. My child enjoyed attending however there is a huge lack of communication when it comes to them keeping you updated on things. Important things are NEVER relayed unless by chance you happen to see the teacher and ask. The director does not allow teachers and parents to communicate she likes everything to go through her which is a bit weird to me. The director is also never 100% truthful when asked

We have two children attending Merry Wood. My daughter has attended Pre-k through 4th and our youngest is in Pre-K now. I just cannot say enough good things about this school. All of our teachers have been outstanding and very helpful to us over the years. Many of my daughters friends have also attended from Pre-K till 4th. Great academics and a great place for learning.

This school has abysmal classroom behavior. The students in the upper grades are always getting into fights, cussing, disrespecting each other and their teachers. Its seems they run the school, because administration does nothing to control behavior.Just look at their test scores. It's so far below average for a Texas school, mostly because teachers spend more than half their day trying to manage discipline in the classroom and they don't have enough time and ability to actually teach the subject areas the students need to pass their tests. This is just my opinion, but look at the test scores of the Middle and High school subjects and you will agree. Run from this school as fast as you can!
