I think in Dayton ISD there are quite a few struggling students and they are not receiving the help needed. As a grandparent in this district I have spent numerous hours trying to get the help she needs to do well in school. She has been given modifications but getting the teachers to recognize a child with a problem is very difficult. I think Texas Education Board need to look deeper into the way our children are being helped with the proper education.

This is a great school! I went to First Baptist for preschool and kindergarten and now my oldest child is in the 3-year-old class. She has come so far in just the first semester. The teachers are so great with the kids and the director, Mrs. Linda Ashby, is the most wonderful person. I don't know what I would do if I didn't live in Dayton. I wouldn't know where to put my daughter. I am so greatful to know that my daughter is safe, happy, and learning so much every day!
