Nepotism and bullying is high in this district. If you are a big name in town/work for the school district, your child will be favored. The teacher turn over rate is also pretty continuous even though there is a 4 day school week.

That he is a grade behind his peers and instead of working with him one on one to try to Catch him up they just say they don't have the money to hire a teacher just for that. So all they do is the Bare

Posted by a parent on 11/18/2014Not so impressed with this school. Run more like a mini prison with dictator in charge. Too much emphasis being put on non-essential things like dress and other silly rules than on education.
Posted by a parent on 10/16/2013My child transferred to this school due to us moving. He was making A's and B's and doing well. When he transferred to Danbury, we found out very quickly they lacked efficiency in teaching the students. We are in the process in transferring him out of this school.
