Read what parents are saying about St Christophers Montessori SchoolDue to moving, we have been at several different daycares and Pre-K’s. SCMS far exceeds every other program my child has attended. Academically he is thriving in this environment. He loves going to school every day. Every time I come to pick him up, one of his teachers is gently rocking and comforting one of the kiddos singing to them how she loves them and “mommy is coming.” She intuitively knows who’s struggling and supports children’s emotional needs. Isn’t that what we want as parents, someone to love our kids as we would in our absence? I could go on and on, but I am so grateful to SMCS for my son’s educational supports and care. As a former gifted education working at top schools across the state, I truly wouldn’t send him anywhere else. My little guy ended up getting into a well known , top public Montessori Pre-K, which would save me, a single mom by choice, a good hunk of change. I am opting to keep him at SCMS, forgoing his coveted lottery spot. I know I’m not the only other SCMS parent that made the same choice. I think that says it all.
Posted by a parent on 6/19/2023The director and teachers greatly care for the students. I appreciate the activities they organize for the children. We have had a good experience and constantly recommend it to others.
Posted by a community member on 6/2/2023All the great reviews for this school was 5-6 years ago. I don’t know what happened to this school over the years but they have mishandled a lot of situations, my son fell on the playground and hit his head. I was not notified until I showed up to pick him up & asked to sign an incident report then & there. A student in his class pushed him & he hit his head on the corner of a shelf & none of the teachers in the classroom saw the incident. My son had to tell to the teachers what happened. I was suppose to hear back from the director regarding an incident about my son (3.5 years old) eating lunch alone when I walked in & it’s been weeks and have not heard back.
Posted by a parent on 4/16/2023My children have attended multiple (4) well-regarded daycares and schools in Dallas and Richardson. I rate St. Christopher's Montessori School at the top of the list. My eldest is a third-grader who attended SCMS for preschool. She entered a shy, sweet little girl, and started kindergarten with confidence and ability to succeed. Now, our toddler will be starting at SCMS to follow in her able footsteps! St. Christopher's is the whole package -- loving teachers and staff, respect for the whole child, preparedness for kindergarten, peace of mind for the parent, and character development.

The teachers here are amazing and are so involved in the kids lives. It’s also ethnically diverse. I couldn’t ask for a better school or better people to be in my kid’s life.Parent Review1y ago - Jill Stone El At Vickery Meadow

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are in our second year at LMS and it is one of the best decisions we have made for our 3yo son. We love it! The teachers are wonderful and the Montessori environment has helped him to develop his communication, interpersonal skills, independence, and critical thinking skills at his own pace. It is also such a supportive community and we are so happy to have this amazing resource right in our neighborhood!Parent Review7mo ago - Zion Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur Redeemer is a wonderful community of staff and teachers who are genuinely excited to teach the kids and be a part of their lives. The education does not stop in the classroom with the outstanding academics, but includes developing each child's moral character and helping them understand the joy in being a child of God. And there's lots of fun to be had! Our Redeemer offers many fun activities during the school day and enrichment strands after school for kids to expand their exposure to various sports, music classes, reading, writing and much more. There isn't a day that goes by that my kids aren't excited to go to school here!Parent Review3mo ago
