NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely great and will transfer my son back to this school as soon as a spot becomes available. The 3/10 rating is based on standardized state test and overall performance in relation to grade 1-5. I cannot speak to those grade but that doesn't encompass the beginning learners program which is amazing compared the school my child now attends. The things he was learning last year they are now teaching at his new school and he is completely bored and gets into trouble every week. Please provide more slots for your Early Learners program so we can place both of our kids in your Pre-K 3/4 classes.Parent Review7y ago15 Reviews - Genesis Campus Pre-K Thru 5

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeyond an A+. Every member of their staff that I have met truly do seem to have a passion for wanting their scholars to become the best versions of themselves. The teachers truly want their scholars to succeed in life, they TEACH the students actual information, not just how to take a test. I have found that AWB-LA community honestly views our children as the future, and they try to help each scholar and parent see all the potential that the world has to offer them. The campus' are locked down during they day not only for the safety of the scholars and teachers, but also to limit the amount of distractions and interruptions to the learning environment. All visitors must be buzzed into the building through the front doors and must present a government ID card to receive a visitor's badge with picture to be worn at all times while on the campus. Open communication is promoted for not only teachers, scholars, and parents, but also the entire AWB-LA community. Knowledge, honesty, responsibility, compassion, safety, unity, and respect are not only taught but promoted on a daily basis. Though strict when it comes to the rules, AWB-LA does promote growth not only in knowledge and experience, but also the self-growth of their scholars. I have found that AWB-LA understand that each child that goes to their school represent our future not just as a community but a species. It is their goal to help the parents/guardians raise caring, respectful, honest, and knowledgeable individuals who can not only think for themselves, but have the courage to set in motion change for the better. Strength is recognized as not only a physical attribute to one's self, but also a mental one that gives you the needed ability to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. It is taught that only as a whole will be all succeed, and that we each have to do our part to make sure that failure it not an option...at least, this is what my experience with the AWB-LA community has shown me. I am proud that my children attend such a well rounded school that instills in their scholars the same things that I teach my daughters at home.Parent Review8y ago4 Reviews - Birdie Alexander Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent campus, great teachers that genuinely care about the students, biblical world view, positive environment, and a great curriculum. In the past there have been a few issues with administrator turnover as well as teachers but I can honestly say the current administration has done great and have been consistent. There has been steady growth and consistent teachers. Everything in life has to grow and I think the administrator turnover just made room for much needed growth. The current administration is far greater than the last.Parent Review4mo ago18 Reviews - Merrywood School
