7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur first year at this school was okay, mainly because my son had a great teacher, Mrs. Singleton, and a great principal, Mrs. Williams. Unfortunately, the quality of learning overall is not the best, which is reflected in the school’s 5/10 rating.From my experience, the school seems to cater more to Hispanic and white students. Many of the teachers don’t seem to know how to effectively communicate with or understand Black children, which may explain why only about 3% of the students at the school are Black. They’re not allowed to talk during lunch, and even during PE the coach expects them to sit down and stay quiet.Since the new principal took over, things have gotten worse. She appears incompetent when it comes to handling behavior issues. Instead of doing proper research, checking cameras, or gathering all the facts, she often just assumes or takes another child’s word for what happened.Based on our experience, I would strongly caution Black parents before enrolling their child here.Parent Review2mo ago - White Rock Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently a student here, and I would just like to say that I love the education here I love the outdoor program and the camping trips we go on and I love the teachers so much. They are the most helpful people on earth.
