We absolutely love Lamkin Elementary! From day one, we’ve been so impressed with how well the school communicates. We always know what’s going on and feel truly connected. The teachers are caring, patient, and genuinely invested in their students’ success. The staff overall is knowledgeable, professional, and always approachable, which makes such a difference. They also celebrate their students all the time!The administration is incredibly supportive, visible, and they genuinely care about both students and staff. You can feel the positive energy the moment you walk through the doors. They’re now a Capturing Kids’ Hearts Showcase School, too! Our kids absolutely love going to school every day!We feel so lucky to be part of a school community that values learning, kindness, communication, and teaching the whole child as much as this one does. Farney elementary has been an exciting and fun place to work and be. I have had the pleasure of working here as well as have my daughter be a 1st grader at Farney. Her first grade teacher was phenomenal, attentive, sweet, loving, kind, and knowledgeable. My daughter work up every morning, excited to go to school and did not want miss any days, sick or not. As an employee of Farney, I have experienced love and compassion for the staff, students, and parents. I enjoy working here as well as have developed deep family relationships with lots of staff members. Farney really is a family.

The staff is so judgmental they whisper instead of helping and attitudes are poor it makes parents feel uncomfortable I actually wanted to take my kids out of this school how I am treated when I go into the office

The staff is nice, but they have no understanding of how to execute 504 plans for students with learning disabilities. Their communication with parents of children on 504 plans is nonexistent. Teachers do not provide proper accommodations to the students. Teachers expect the students to handle all communication to their parents as if they are adults. Things get lost in translation then the school blames the student and parents. Also they blame the state for not providing enough support for special needs students. Which might hold some truth, but there is no reason not to communicate with parents.

We love this school. Our children look forward to coming to school every day. The teachers are caring and attentive to our kid's specific learning needs. We love that they are not confined to a classroom all day but enjoy that their teachers hold class or reading time outdoors on beautiful days. Not only that, the community here is the best. All families here agree that we want the best for our children.

The teachers were like rude and made me cry like 4 time and it wasn’t fun at all all u do is write and some teachers have been rude and called my friend out also all the teachers do is yell also they make you feel bad. And the school is just lame and rude in general.
