Crosby High School

We’ve had nothing but positive experiences here so far. The athletic teams are superb at Crosby. The fine arts here are wonderful. This school has a lot of opportunities for students to excel the kids just have to work.

This school district has MANY ISSUES. From an ongoing bullying that is constantly covered up by school staff to complete disregard of students in the 504 special education programs. These are students doing everything in their power to live a normal life from the unfortunate hand life has given them only to be combatted by teachers and staff that either never take the time to read about that students disability and requirements or to blatantly disregard all information shared to them. To make matters even WORSE the staff will openly degrade students in front of peers and classmates. We have left this district once for private school but that is not a cheap route for even one child (especially after doctor visits, treatments, and medical bills), so after many talks with staff nothing changes and seems the teachers begin to retaliate towards the student because there is no accountability of their actions as adults. AGAIN my family will be forced to look to alternative education programs since this school can't seem to get on board with young adult that is just trying to get a education. If you have a chose I WOULD NOT recommend allowing your student to go through what they will go through in this district.

It's um-Our school is rough. The care for students with mental health isn't really there, and there's plenty, PLENTY, of bad teachers.I would never trust telling a teacher something personal, even so, most of the time you'll get ignored.Id say our music and sport programs are the main reason someone should want to come to Crosby. Our band program is absolutely wonderful, and lately our football team has been doing great, even with covid!

Experiencing Crosby first hand has made me realize that I am ready for college. The councilors are there for you, the principals listen to your side of a story, Teachers are of GREAT quality, No student left behind. AP/PAP classes are rigorous, teachers WONT hand out grades, your GPA is earned! Tests properly cover the material learned in a correct manor, rules are set and any breaking of them results in punishment, which is fair. Ive seen nothing wrong with this school. Go Cougars!
