7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf your child is English speaking they will be dismissed. My children are dismissed, and are falling behind because they tend to cater towards the Spanish speaking children. This is absolutely unacceptable. I agree that Spanish speaking kids need to learn English, the issue is, they are more focused on the English speaking kids learning Spanish. They are very disorganized. Teachers/parents will drive in the opposite direction is the parking lot to cut into the side parking lot, while parents are trying to exit the drop off line. I have almost been hit several times. Not one administrator does anything. The campus police just look the other way. It’s extremely unsafe. How can I trust this school to safely handle my children for 8 hours a day, when they can’t even properly run a drop off line. This school needs to be looked into, throughly. I’m to the point of selling my brand new home just to get my children in a better school zone. Anderson Elementary is incompetent on many levels. If you address any situation, you are brushed off, and told there’s nothing that can be done. They are majorly lacking proper resources for learning disabilities. What they do with state funding needs to be investigated.Parent Review1y ago6 Reviews - Armstrong Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am an upset parent. I was told today that I'm not allowed to walk my impaired daughter to the front door. It's my right as a parent to walk her to the door. What harm am I causing by walking her? Who am I affecting by doing this? Have I caused some damage to school property? No I have not. I am only doing what my right is and that is walking my daughter to the door. Nothing more nothing less. Plus my daughter was hit 2 times first by a boy then by a girl and I was not informed of this until my 4 year old daughter told me and when I told the teacher she said the kids are just getting to know each other. Then my daughter hit those kids and I get a letter about it!? Very unpleasant situation and hoping for the best.Parent Review11y ago4 Reviews - Rice Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs previously mentioned in another review, they have had a new principal for almost 10 years. However, she can't even speak to the majority of her students because she can't speak Spanish!! Parents used to have a say in their child's education... Not here at Runyan. They don't care what you (as the child's parent) have to say and they definitely do not try to resolve anything. I could go on and on, but my neighbors tried to warn me before we moved in... I should have listened. Conroe ISD is awesome... Not Runyan however!!!Other Review9y ago2 Reviews - Reaves Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur child has been attending SHCS for nearly four years and has thrived in this environment. We truly appreciate the dedication of the staff and the strong sense of community among the families. The constant involvement of parents, along with the dedication of the long-tenured staff and teachers who clearly love what they do and care for our children as their own, has been truly heartwarming. The curriculum and expectations for students align perfectly with what we were seeking, all at a reasonable tuition cost. Quarterly testing highlights the significant difference in the level of education our child is receiving compared to children of the same age in other schools. We only wish we had discovered SHCS sooner!Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Covenant Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended CCS 2005-2011 (7th-12th grade). This school is isolating if you’re not 100% onboard with their brand of Christianity. Most of the staff care more about nitpicking your personal life as opposed to actually educating students. When I attended Liberty University, I had to take multiple remedial classes to catch up from the lack of education provided by CCS.The staff retention at this school is rife with nepotism. Most of the current young teachers are former students and the older teachers used to be parents of students. It’s clear that CCS will only hire staff that form to the small sect that they’ve created for themselves. If CCS had more facilities, students, extracurriculars, and focus on education, I think it would be a fine/safe school to trust with your children.Other Review3y ago29 Reviews
