Read what parents are saying about College Park High SchoolWe've had three kids at College Park so far, and we love the school! The administration and teachers are so devoted to the students. We've especially been deeply grateful for the band and orchestra programs. You will not find directors who care more about their students than the ones at this school. They love each student like their own children. They are concerned for their mental well-being, and also help them develop self-discipline, concern for others, and other important life skills. Not only that, they somehow direct hundreds of students to create high-quality performances. The orchestra program is the best in the region, with consistently the most region orchestra members each year. Academically, the honors, dual credit, and AP courses seem to be rigorous enough, but usually not overwhelming. Not all the teachers have been stellar, but I think our kids have received a good education and are prepared for college. I've heard things about The Woodlands HS (drugs, negative experiences in the orchestra and band programs, etc.) that make me grateful that we chose to go with College Park.
Posted by a parent on 7/12/2022Be careful with appearances. If your child has any emotional issues, this school will make it the worse and most unpleasant life your child will ever have to endure. They do not provide good teachers. They are all interest in paying bills, and with few exceptions will not work with your child's needs. If you are involved with the board, or is a major "donor" to school activities then it is a different story. If your son or daughter has any impairment or learning issues the school is not for you. The teachers do not motivate the students to learn. They motivate students to make the passing grades. Academically limited resources are available. On line material in non existing. Do not expert any social support, or your child's mental health and emotional well being to take any consideration here. The staff is impossible to reach and when you do, specially on the disciplinary end of it, they are filled with a bad attitude. They will not work with parents or be reasonable. This school is a nightmare. But they do party a lot and you will get tons of invites for money contribution as well. A lot of opportunities to give $$$.

Posted by a parent on 12/16/2021College Park High School has been an amazing experience fir my two children. They are so many opportunities to participate in clubs, activities and sports. My children have the loved the dual credit options for college credit. The teachers have been so wonderful. It has really been a great fit for our kids. This school district is wonderful!
Posted by a parent on 2/12/2021We had high hopes going in but have been sadly disappointed. Like others have noted, the administration (and most of the teachers) could not care less about the students or the parents. In hindsight I wish I bought my house in the zone for Woodlands HS instead. If you have a choice - avoid this school zone.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children HATE this school. The teachers are impersonal, the admin staff are uncaring and the whole PTO is very unoriginal. It’s a shameful example of a bunch of adults wasting their children’s’ time. Go anywhere else, this place is just bad.Teacher Review1y ago - David Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAMAZING and truly loving staff and teachers!!! Very welcoming, you feel at home part of a family, small student to teacher ratio, specials offered every week, great location, large outdoor areas to play, very clean and organized. This was our first year here and LOVED it! Has PK 3/4 offered all day, so for those with younger and older children- super convenient and great to have them together. We love getting weekly newsletters sent out via teachers with updates & photos and a monthly news from the principal. So many fun events held throughout the year. Overall, outstanding school and we felt very blessed to be there this year!Parent Review4y ago - The Rubicon Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school! I love all the extras beyond your typical subjects. The kids put on a play, musical performance, they compete in robotics and even learn Spanish! They also get to experience the symphony, theater, and the importance of giving back in the community! My Son has been going there from Kindergarten to 4th grade and says he would love to stay through High School if they decide to offer it :-)Parent Review1y ago - The Woodlands Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current senior, $35k for this place is absurd. This is not a high school and definitely not a college preparatory one. This school has become a one-sided church. The administration has no boundaries and are trying to be preachers. From kids being baptised in track practice for social media to porn stars coming in and talking to us about Jesus for an entire day, my parents' money was wasted. It is a shame because some of the teachers are truly talented and good at what they do, but days and class time are wasted trying to push a curriculum the school has created based on their own beliefs/interpretation of the Bible and judging students for their "sins on the weekend". Students are taught to shun people of other beliefs (democrats, muslims, mormons, jews, divorce, abortion, ect...) and that they are going to hell. Regardless of my personal or political beliefs, I would never want my child to bully or shun people of other beliefs, this is not only mean but also the opposite of college preparatory. TWCA was a great institution until 2020, the administration shifted and with it the school's morals and priorities. TWCA displays an online presence of a Christian school that makes you feel like you are a part of a family, but that couldn't be further from the truth. High school is where we should be LEARNING and building good habits to prepare us for college, this school fails to do that in every way. The administration is leading out their preacher faniticies rather than doing their job and teaching us the fundamentals of math, science, history and english. I can recite a million verses, but I do not feel prepared for college.Student Review2mo ago - Pcal Christian School
