Gerard Elementary School

With Adams improvement over the years it has to be the best elementary school in Cleburne ISD. The teachers and staff do everything that they can to help the students achieve the things that they need to do well ad they advance grades ..Mrs. Hodges is one of the best teachers my son has ever had and is advancing and is using his potential.

My child has been at Coleman elementary school for 4 years. There are teachers at Coleman who mean well but if a child falls behind there is nobody to help them. We work hard at home and I have tried to communicate issues to teachers via email it takes 3days for a response! My child has gone on field trips with no notice or permission slip sent home to sign!!! I had no idea they had gone untill my child told me after school. The school is a mess. Nothing matters here except for state testing and scores.

We love Cooke! The staff and admin are extremely encouraging and supportive to students, families and teachers. They focus on positive reinforcement and encourage acceptance and community. My children have excelled and I have had great communication with teachers. Couldn’t ask for better!

This school has been life changing for my children. The teachers and principal and staff are so supportive to the different learning styles of my children. I have never imagined it possible for my teens to be excited to go to school each day. They feel heard, loved, encouraged and valued. Changing from homeschooling to CCA was a very hard and prayerful decision and did require some adjustments, but it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for my family.
