Horrible school, I used to go here and I gotta say hands down this is THE WORST school I've ever been atTo start it off, all the kids EVER talked about was smashing and gangs, 1 kid actually stole my bag (which was just full of pencils and pens) and I had to confront him about it (keep in mind I was sitting RIGHT NEXT TO THE TEACHER) while the teacher just sat and watched, I then later got relocated to a different room because of that incident even tho it wasn't my fault.The teachers weren't teaching they would just assign you work on the chromebooks and make the class be silent, they would also assign so much homework that it made my folder start bulging out on the 2nd day, not to mention 1 of the teachers clowned me out to the whole class cuz I asked to use a plug to charge my chromebook, and another one of my teachers literally wouldn't even talk to us, he would just write on the whiteboard to check our assignments on the chromebooks and get mad when we asked him simple questions. Gotta say the only decent teacher I had was my French teacher, who was this small woman that the kids would pretty much bully for no reason other than her being an easy target.The sports teams there suck, so no point in even going here if your kids like to play basketball, football, volleyball, etc.And I gotta say the worst staff members here were the APs and front office employees, I'm talking I got suspended for a week because I was walking outside during lunch and I was late to get back inside by a minute or two, and even that didn't happen until they sat me down in this empty room and literally interrogated me for 20 minutes. The front office employees were no different, they ALWAYS had an attitude and would treat the students like trash unless their parents were there. The security guards weren't that bad though, if anything they did the counselors job better than them since I would constantly see them talking to the kids that looked depressed.If you read this whole thing and thought that's ridiculous I must be lying, believe me I'm not, that's just how ridiculous and horrible this school is. If I actually wrote down every negative interaction I've had here I'd have enough material for a book. So all in all, I would say don't even think about bringing your kids to this school, you may as well take them to jail if you do, matter of fact they might even learn more there than at this school.

Let me just say this so y’all get this in y’all head THIS IS THE WORST SCHOOL I EVER BEEN TO, it’s unorganized not professional at all and teachers don’t even make us feel ready to learn they just give you the work and it’s always on the Chromebook and it gets annoying Time to time because the teachers don’t even teach us the lesson and they give so much work back to back and gets to the point it’s very stressful and makes me feel overwhelmed, let me tell you this I am a current student in this high school (11) last year (10) it was my first time coming to this school and see how it works for me and everything was going great in the beginning until teachers started quitting and messed up my grades because we didn’t have work to grade us on so they gave us a 0 and have to take credit recovery and English to when that’s not our fault and I have a low GPA coming to this school, please do not come here it’s not worth it now that I’m currently a 11 grade I put my all to my class and have good grades I passed everything but it was hard but I still made it and my mom recieved a email that I need to go to SUMMER SCHOOl and we have to pay because they don’t have enough money to pay the teachers which is embarrassing and how am I going to SUMMER SCHOOL if I passed?, Oh guess what? They made a rule that if your absent they would take away your credit even if you pass the class but my absences are excused but I have to still go? I’m not sure if they got the wrong person because my sister goes to this school to and she had a truancy because of her absences turns out when she went to court they mistaken her from somebody else or they was just putting a whole bunch of absences for fun and not only that once you step in the building it’s so much negativity coming to the teachers and staff they are so rude and talk to you with an attitude when your not talking to them in any type of way and won’t even let you talk and just assume things, (which happen to me) never in my life have I ever experienced this you guys need to do better because if you want you students to do work keep them motivated and make them want to learn maybe if you do that you would see improvements in this school but you guys are not doing anything about it, hire teachers that actually want to teach because half of these teachers just be there for the money which is selfish welp I guess not because they don’t even have enough money even the teachers say the same thing that this is the worst school!

This school needs a complete overhaul. The kids are out of control. Kids bringing guns to school, fights, kids getting jumped, BULLYING is really bad at this school. I understand that the teachers hands are tied but some of them really do not care. The administration is horrible. I left 10 messages in a month time With multiple office staff, never got a call back. My son’s counselor is out indefinitely due to illness, we totally understand and are hoping she gets better soon, however, they are not allowing him a temporary counselor until her return. I don’t even believe that’s legal. They will put kids in ISS for the most ridiculous reasons. My sons id tag broke off his lanyard and didn’t realize it until he got to school. He didn’t have the money to get a new one so they put him in ISS. Why take away from his education over a one time missing ID when you give temporary ones to kids day after day? They play favorites, if your a star athlete you can’t do any wrong. The bullying is so bad. My child went from loving school, having many extracurricular activities, being outgoing, driven and enrolled in multiple ap classes. The bullying has been so bad my son now skips school, hides in the bathroom, quit band and sports, he can’t stand being at this school and I feel awful that he has to go here. Im taking him out of this school. Also, why would they split up 9th graders into 3 different lunch schedules??!? Most high schools keep freshman together because it’s a tough time for kids starting high school along with puberty, etc. they should be around their friends and kids their age, yet they are split into different lunches and surrounded by upperclassman who make it their job to bully and harass every chance they get. Imo blame is first and foremost on the parents of these unruly teenagers. Second the administration is at fault because they don’t do anything about it. They see it, there’s no way they don’t know what is happening but they do nothing about it! The school district also needs to step up and bring some major changes. You’re ruining school for the kids who are well behaved.

The experience is spirit filled, innovative and constantly evolving in a positive direction.
