Coggin Elementary School

This is the best elemantry school in brownwood, by far! I wouldn't choose another school in this town! They car bout the kids and the one on one learning is great! The teachers And staff are the best! If you don't want a school that's all bout money and who you know and you want a school that cares bout your kids education then Northwest is the school to choose!

My child has ADHD, he was treated like a nuisance and I feel that a lot of the staff didn't know how to handle or teach a child outside of text book teaching. The principal was horrible, and I felt she was not genuine. I felt as though we were very much another number to her rather than human beings. Thank goodness we moved and did not have to continue with this school.

We love this school! It has been a wonderful experience and we felt like family!

My daughter attended VLA pre k this past school year. This school is amazing!! Mrs Lay was her pre k teacher and what an awesome teacher indeed! This loving teacher nurtured each child not only through education but in God's word. I could not have asked for a better teacher if I had hand picked her myself. I was just amazed each week the things my daughter learned. (I.e. Spanish, sign language, songs, "I can do" attitude, manners, scriptures, and prayers) Mrs Lay has a balance of being strict and orderly with fun and carefree. I could not have asked for a better first year of school. I would recommend this school to everyone ! Please go by and check out the campus it is well worth your time. If you have a pre k child you will not be disappointed if you are blessed to have Mrs Lay for child's teacher!
