Kindergarten and 2nd.They were exhausted, homework every night even for kinder, my son was bullied and it wasn’t taken care of, in return he started to fight these kids.I requested an evaluation for a 504 for my son’s ADHD, it took them the ENTIRETY
Posted by a parent on 9/25/2024Basis Benbrook is an incredible education. The biggest challenge is for the student to keep up with the pace and challenging environment. Parents will need to be involved to make sure they don’t fall behind.

I and my peers had to walk out of the classroom multiple times the day disrupting our work while one student in the classroom was harassing the teachers or another student. Students performing these acts had to be dragged or pulled out of the classroom by the only male teachers in the school. We never were able to complete or fully understand our assignments. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWestpark Elementary is unlike any other school. The school and facility feel like family. They truly know and care for the kids. Both my sons have attended Westpark, and it was an awesome experience for both. My youngest needed additional help since he has ADHD and Autism. They were so supportive and followed his 504 to a "T" even suggesting small changes based on knowing my son personally. My oldest needed to be challenged, so he was accepted into GT (Gifted and Talented) classes. Finally, I can't forget the PTA. They are so helpful and supportive of the teachers and students. They have the best, most caring teachers. Small classes for a more personalized education. Awesome parents who are involved with their children and the school.
