Read what parents are saying about St. Anne Catholic SchoolI have 2 sons that attend St. Anne Catholic School. This is our sixth year and we have been very pleased. The number one reason I love the school is that they focus on developing the whole child. They provide a quality education while also teaching Christian values that are based in truth. Aside from academics and religion, the school offers countless service opportunities to the children that are age appropriate. Last year, St. Anne Church donated a piece of property that is now called, "The Giving Field." It is an amazing project that the students at the school are allowed to participate in. It currently provides fruits, vegetables and fresh eggs to the less fortunate citizens in are area. My 5th grader was able to spend an hour last week with his entire class digging up over 300 lbs. of sweet potatoes that they had planted a year ago in 4th grade. It was an amazing sight watching those kids harvest what they had planted and know that they were helping others. Their is also a very strong sense of community. My boys have always felt "known" by all the teachers and administrators and they feel very secure. I would highly recommend St. Anne Catholic School - we love it!!!
Posted by a parent on 10/31/2013When you hear St. Anne Catholic School - you think, "Community of Faith." St. Anne embodies those terms wholeheartedly through its teachings of service, faith, community, and academic excellence. I feel blessed knowing my children go to school in a safe, loving, faith-rich environment.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm at teacher at Ehrhart and love it here. The leadership emphasizes caring for the students along with educating them. The classes are smaller than BISD schools so it helps me focus on students who need the additional assistance. I noticed that the Academics/Test Scores section was rated 4/10. It is based on old information (3-4 yrs old). Ehrhart averages higher scores than the schools in southeast Texas (Region 5)...as of the 2016-2017 school year.Parent Review6y ago - Caldwood Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt is an experience one that I hope to get better, and in support of my daighter's bright future I don't depend staff at this school to challenge. I see that she struggles with internalizing things, and I just want her to learn and be in a environment where she can express herself, and continue to grow and develop. I am a hopeful parent, concerned 24/7 and take advantage of teaching my child before she goes to her classroom. They are babysitting...Parent Review4y ago - Curtis Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school and I highly recommend it! I was looking for a Montessori in the Port Arthur-Beaumont area. I am very happy I found this place. My pre-K son loves this school. The school represents a true Montessori school where the child leads the way. My son has improved a lot on his basic learning skills and beyond. I believe this school awakened the creativity and innovative abilities of my son. This school encourages Independence, curiosity, and critical thinking. They also work on practical skills, working with others, and proper etiquettes. Everyday he comes home with knowledge and skills. He’s a very curious child and has a great passion for learning. I love that this school allows children to learn according to their interests and incorporates the basic learning skills. This makes learning more fun and enjoyable for the kids. The teachers and staffs are very friendly and approachable. I love that Ms. Sara takes her time with my son especially when he’s not in the mood to do his work. She is also very good at communicating with us about my son’s performance and behavior. She cares for the kids individually and she loves what she does. The school is smaller compared to traditional schools, but it’s been around for many years. The building is always clean and disinfected.Overall, we love this little school and very grateful that it exists.Parent Review2y ago - All Sts. Episcopal School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter though 5years old was reading on middle of first grade when I enrolled her here. I really thought she would be challenged in a Christian environment. Wrong! During class all she did was color, watch movies, play on the playground and take naps. I removed her 2months later. A parent who thought I was over reacting shared that her son is still doing what they did the first week of school. When I asked to see the lesson plan, they acted as though I needed a signature from president Obama. I never saw a lesson plan and months later I am still fighting for consumable workbooks purchased via the curriculum fee. For all the money parents pay this school should do better. The only reason they are still around is because people who don't want their children in public school pay the money. However, my daughter was reading when she got there and she knows many concepts for core subjects because I teach her at home. I surely was not going to allow her to go backwards all because her teacher was not trained to differentiate instruction. Oh and after care is a joke. The children watch Nickelodeon. I don't allow my child to watch that at home and furthermore why aren't you doing something constructive with them? Do not put your child here. Waste of money.Parent Review7y ago
