Read what parents are saying about Baytown Christian AcademyI personally know the headmaster does not represent christianity.
Posted by a community member on 9/1/2019Head master only part-time ( couple an hours a day). You can see him by appointments only. Administration sweeps everything under the rug, unless your family donates money twards sports program or keeping the school doors open. (Keeps you kid out of troule too !) Deans -they only have 2 they have no background in administration or student counseling. Financially and academaly BCA school is going under. Schools students are in small classes but the curriculum is poor. ALOT of students attending BCA especially higher grade levels, do so because they are behind in public school. If your child is planning to attended college.DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR RISK THEIR FUTURE! Most teachers use only workbooks with little ACTIVE teaching. Teachers do not receive updated trainings. State law on how children are treated in classrooms and parent rights do not apply in this place. My family spent 12 years and 65,000 and my childs test scores were no better than a public school. So, we tried a public school and within a month the teachers had my student in all AP classes. He will also receive college credit and be Microsoft Certified by 16. Also, Christianity runs fair to poor, if you are looking for true leadership. This is not the same school it was when we started. We are truely sad. The were 36 in high school class grade levels now they are down to only 9 students in the freshman class. Look into the real stats and credibility of the school before entering into this and spending thousands of dollars, plus fund raising, buying a couple of hundred in books , supplies and $100 sports fees are alot to think about! There are always other options!
Posted by a parent on 5/19/2016My child has been going to BCA for five years. My child enjoys the school and I am happy with the school and the administration. The school teaches Pre-K -- 12th and is now in one building on North Main now which is nice. I went to Barbers Hill as a teen in the late 70s, early 80s and this school remind me of the small classes and family feel. I highly recommend BCA.

She is so excited to go to school and learn she comes home and calls me to tell me what happened each day. I enjoy this bonding my granddaughter and I share. The school always makes me feel welcome when I go to eat with my granddaughter. The school is very clean and the staff looks and acts very professional and caring. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageworst school teachers are unexperienced, if your kid has an issue you best believe they wont try to help you kid had very traumatic years there the always had the same story about his behavior had to medicate my kid. Now in new school has phenomenal grades out of meditation and loves school. If your are having any behavior issues with your kids this is your sign to remove your kids from that school.Parent Review1y ago - 4 Our Kids Learning Academy
