From my experience, most of the teachers could not be quiet during professional developments (making their own lessons plans,m disrespecting the speaker) or talking over them during meetings with a stipend included. It explained to me why the school received an F rating for the past few years. Admin changes every other year and they only care to survive the day, undermining you with 30+ kids alone. If you value education and your child's growth, find an alternative. Most the kids who get suspended from charters come here and act like Stone Cold Steve Austin, you won't be helped. You'll be advised by parents with no college education on how to teach, (no joke) or by "leaders" who give you a laundry list but won't model how to do it. Best of luck to anybody that sends their kid or teaches here. You were warned.

I have a second grader at PCE and we love it. We actually did out of district enrollment to stay at PCE because of how great the experience is. They have free breakfast and lunch for every kid, nobody goes hungry. They even let my kid grab breakfast if/when she is late. My kid comes home telling me about all sorts of stuff she learned and I feel like she is retaining things well. There are lots of opportunities to be involved as a parent, and the PTA does a great job. Principal Gaston has been fair and responsive, Mr. House always makes sure kids are greeted in the morning with a smile. They have a boys and girls club after school program that goes until 5:30. My 4 kids have all gone to this school. They always love there teachers there but the new principles always seem to be the problem. The inexperienced principles change all the time and run the good teachers off who always stayed before. Miss Anderson, miss wyly, Mr Moreno and miss carillo keep my kids excited because they know those teachers will always be there even if others don't come back after the summer. Now we hearr Dessau might close down like it was going to 3 years ago. I am so glad these teachers stayed when the other ones left. The principle now needs a lot of work but her male assistent really helps a lot. I expect next year will be the last of this school so at least my kids still there can count on the teachers they love still there

My grandchildren are thriving at the school, interested in learning.

My child has attended Pre-K at Our Savior for the past two years and is now starting Kindergarten this year. We are so pleased with the new teachers and the new Headmaster, Pastor Borchers. You can see that there are a lot of changes happening and that not only is the staff excited but the so are the parents with one of the largest PTO's groups in many years. Great things are happening this year!UPDATE: The school has been re-structured as an Early Childhood Education Center focusing on Infants-Kindergarten and adding STEAM curriculum and Kindermusik. Great changes!

THIS SCHOOL IS Immaculate. Everyone should be appreciative of a school like this community
