8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two daughters that go to this school. They are both enrolled in the dual language program there. They began learning Spanish and English in Kindergarten. I have one going to first grade and another going into third. They have learned so much from this enrichment program. I am highly impressed with this school and wish other districts would do this. There is more homework than most schools, but there are also programs offered for after school to help students who have learning trouble. My oldest daughter has ADHD, and this has not slowed her down, she made straight A's all year long in her Spanish and English classes and her test scores were off the charts! Thank you AISD for offering this program to our children, and also the love and care that is shown to our students. It is greatly appreciated and noticed!!!Parent Review9y ago - Rancho Isabella Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBEST school ever. We transferred our kinder from Westside (TOO big) to Rancho this year (2012-13) and it was the best decision we ever made. The school (small at 300+) is so well thought-out in design, but the the teachers, staff and principal make it simply amazing. They greatly encourage parental involvement, and are a marvel to witness with the children. It seems as if every person who is employed there is 100% thrilled to be there and all seem to LOVE what they are doing...which makes a tremendous difference to the children. My kinder is 'back to normal' by way of being (once again) confident, independent, and is learning FAR more than we could have dreamed. In the KG grades, homework is NOT a huge focus (as it is at Westside w/over 20+pages of homework a WEEK), but flashcards, decodable readers and little projects are the norm. It has been an absolute JOY to us, as parents, to have had our child attend this incredible school. I would HIGHLY recommend it over all others! The principal knows every single child's name in his school...no joke. The calm, serene, comfortable environment seems to be highly conducive to learning...something other schools should absolutely model. :)Parent Review11y ago - Frontier Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe just transferred from FBISD and our daughter absolutely loves her school. Her teachers are welcoming, friendly, and also top notch when it comes to classroom decorum. There is a time and place for learning, fun, socializing, and community engagement. Frontier seems to have this perfectly organized. So few (if any) disciplinary issues by contrast to former experiences where notified almost weekly of a serious event. Curriculum is age appropriate and aligned with the subject matter for our state. As parents, we especially appreciate the collaborative nature between faculty and parents. No friction or debate over who's "in charge". The respect alone is worthy mentioning -- plus it goes both ways. It's easy to tell the other kids are well mannered and respectful too.Parent Review1y ago - Angleton Christian School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt was completely awful. Who the parents are often played a role in the experience a student got, if parents couldn't donate to every Auction or be present at every PTO meeting students weren't given the room for mistakes that others were given.Parent Review6y ago - Central Elementary School
