Only 3 AP classes offered. The new counselor didn't even know how to submit transcripts to colleges and didn't care to find out, because they assume everyone will go to Sul Ross. Sports and Band are the main focus of the school.
Posted by a parent on 4/27/2014Top-notch school! It's very true that it's small enough that kids don't get lost in the shuffle, but it's also true that it stands apart for its very caring faculty who really try to bring the best out in every child.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son loved his time (Pre-K through 3rd grade) at AMS. You won't find a more dedicated group of parents and teachers anywhere. This school is a great alternative to the test-driven, creativity stifling world of public education.
